Terms of use

Effective October 18, 2026. Game Night Show is an early-access social quiz game operated by the developer team identified on its Discord application profile.

Playing the game

Use the game respectfully and follow Discord's terms and community rules when playing through Discord. Do not harass other players, impersonate someone, exploit the service, or submit unlawful material. In Hosted Show, a nonplaying host reads questions and judges spoken answers. Everyone Plays is the default for new rooms. All players submit private typed answers, and per-question answer rules and accepted alternatives determine scores automatically. Names and titles may allow limited typing assistance; word puzzles use stricter matching. Players may explicitly share an unrecognized answer after reveal for a majority vote by the other eligible players. Scores are for friendly entertainment and have no monetary value.

Accounts and access

You may join as a guest, create a username/password account, or sign in with Discord. Keep your credentials private. This early-access release may change or experience interruptions. We may restrict access that is abusive or threatens other players or the service.

Content

The game uses original question wording and presentation. You can save private boards and write your own questions using an account. Only submit content you have permission to use, and avoid including personal or confidential information. You retain your rights to your submissions and allow us to store and display them to operate your boards and shared matches. The facts referenced in questions are provided for entertainment; you may encounter mistakes. Content available in a room must not be represented as official tournament adjudication. Do not copy or redistribute protected artwork, text, or code without permission from its rights holder.

Show Pass and payments

Show Pass is an optional Discord subscription with a base price of US$4.99 per month. If you purchase Show Pass, an active subscription lets you create, generate and edit custom boards, keep up to 500 saved boards, choose Everyone Plays answer and reveal timers, and use Neon, Candy or Retro room themes. The room owner needs Show Pass to choose these paid settings; friends can join and play without subscribing. Standard games and the published question library remain free. Paying never improves answer access, buzzer priority or wheel odds.

Discord's checkout shows the currency, applicable taxes, total price and renewal terms before you confirm. The amount displayed there controls your purchase. Sign in to Game Night Show with the same Discord account that owns the subscription to use its benefits on the website and in the Activity.

Show Pass renews monthly until you cancel through Discord. After cancellation, benefits continue through your paid period while Discord confirms an active entitlement; a refund or other entitlement revocation may end access sooner under Discord's terms. When access ends, your saved boards remain readable, playable and deletable. Creating, generating or editing boards and choosing new paid room settings require an active Show Pass. An existing match keeps the questions and rules frozen when it was created or started.

Discord handles payment processing, subscription management and refund requests under its Paid Services Terms and Refund Policy. You can manage or cancel in Discord's subscription settings; see Discord's cancellation instructions. Deleting your Game Night Show account does not cancel a Discord subscription. Contact our support address below for problems accessing game features.

Privacy and account control

See our privacy notice. You can sign out at any time and delete your account through the account controls. Deleting your account does not immediately remove a shared room's history; those records expire as described in the notice.
